5. Comments 4 Success

5.)Comments4kids was great website used in my EDM310 class. I got a sneak peak of what kind of things students were doing all around the world. Many of these students put on skits and did great projects like doing a world wide recycling project. I would like to take comments4kids and turn it into comments4success for my class. On this website I would like my students to get in groups of there planned occupation. I would ask that each child write a brief description about themselves and what they plan to be when they grow up. I would ask for different people with these occupations to write a few sentences about there job and encourage my students.

4.Google,Google and more Google

4.)Google is a very reliable source. I have been using google throughout my entire college experience and I will continue to use google as a source as a teacher. Whenever I assign homework that has to be done with research I will make Google a required resource.

3.Have Fun Learning with YouTube, iTunes U &Podcast

3.)In school children watch a lot of educational movies and some of these movies are a little outdated. With using iTunesU, Podcast, and Youtube my students will have an opportunity to learn in new fun ways. These websites have numerous educational videos that are great for children and I believe students will love watching these videos on the Internet.

2. Travel Around The World with Google Earth

2.)When children are small they watch cartoons about different places around the world. They might imagine what it would be like to go to that place someday but it might be impossible to them. In my class I will take my class on tours all around the world and let them see how big the world is. Students can even make a google earth tour to show to the class.

1.Stay Connected With Blogs

1.)Blogs are a big hit now. People blog about many different things such as things they have experience and even political views. As a teacher I will use blogs to stayed connected with parents of my students. I believe that it is very important to have a professional relationship with my students parents and staying connected through blogs will be convenient and fun. I will send a slip home on the first day of school telling the parents about this blog and instructions on how to find it. Parents who are not able to contact me through blog are more than welcomed to call me.
